Anyone know a lot about drainage systems around Park Ridge? We have a newer house with those deep manhole drains in the front and back yards. The previous owners undertook a large investment and had a massive drainage system installed "with lots of tentacles o...

Basement is dry BUT my sump pump is emptying out over and over (we have overhead sewers) by Park Ridge. Given the amount of rain we experienced last night, is that normal? It doesn't normally run that often. I called our plumber. Just wanted to get feedback from anyone else who may be experiencing the s...

Hello 👋🏼 Hope this message finds everyone well within Park Ridge. I’m a Park Ridge resident & sewer. I’ve been organizing sewn mask donations. I’m out a machine right now & was wondering if anyone had an old one they were looking to get rid of on the cheap or ...

Can anyone recommend a plumber who will rod out our sewer line close to Park Ridge? We have a clean-out in the front of the house so that it can be done from the outside. Thank you!

Anyone else experiencing stinky sewer smell around town or in your house/basement in Park Ridge? I thought it was our place, but then a walk uptown has me questioning that. It’s smelly lots of places. North of Touhy and Summit.

Does anyone know if the city will be doing any more street cleaning to remove the leaves from the streets by Park Ridge? The landscapers around here are not hauling them away but putting a lot of it in the street and the sewers are already full!

Anyone have any weird sewer or plumbing issues going on since the city flushed the hydrants this week in Park Ridge? Just got back from vacation to black water and so did neighbors. Wondering if this is happening elsewhere. 🥴

A routine inspection of our flood control system detected a sewer line failure, where our line meets the main, under our street in South Prospect in Park Ridge. We’ve been told this is our responsibility to repair. We have a few (costly) repair estimates all that involve ripping open the street in front of the house. Sergio Sewer & Drain provided a fair pri...

Does anyone know if there is a preventative maintenance program for our aging sewer system in PR in Park Ridge? I am seeing major puddles around town and wondering if there are any proactive steps in place for the rains that will inevitably come.

Anyone’s basement seeping tonight within Park Ridge? Our rental house has an unfinished basement with water seeping up through cracks and drains not draining. I wonder if it’s because sewer drains are frozen or is it just the volume of melting snow ov...

Everyone should be proactive on this upcoming weekend and start shoveling the snow off of their street storm drains and sewers by Park Ridge! The combination of snow melting, frozen ground and rain will flood your street and homes! If you see your neighbor shoveling please help her or him!

I have a question. Beginning of December we had a sewer back up that caused some damage in Park Ridge. We had a restoration company come out. Our basement is 1048 square ft. They tore up maybe 700 sq ft of carpet and 300 sq ft of tile. They also had to take down some drywall and then sanitize the whole...

Has anyone recently had a bathroom put in their basement by Park Ridge? Did you need to have an ejector pump put in for the sewers? Looking for a ballpark on what that cost to put in vs just the cost of the bathroom. Thanks in advance.
