Does anyone know if there some sort of code that requires power lines running from the house to the garage to be buried in the ground instead of installed overhead within Park Ridge? We need to replace our wires and I'm trying to avoid digging. We already have ComEd wires coming from a pole over the garage into the house- is there a reason the garage wires have to be buried?
