Communities across the country have started to implement this simple, non-contact system of communication between seniors (and others in need) and their neighbors by Park Ridge. They post a sheet of green paper in their windows. If it changes to red it means they require assistance, shopping, medication or medical care. You might want to consider implementing this idea on you...

You can take as many as you like, they’ll carry it all to your car. When finished you drop them off and they’ll take them to the hospital for you. Edit use #covidrock2020 when posting your finds so everyone can see all the rocks everyone is finding around Park Ridge. I thought of something we could do. I saw someone was painting rocks and making a rock garden. My son and I are going to paint rocks and hide them along our walk. This way when you take a walk you can...

FYI, this AM the Park Ridge Trader Joe's seems to be limiting the # of people inside the store (not a bad idea, it is small enough that 6" social distancing becomes impractical). Anyhow, at 9:15AM today there was a person at the door letting people in and a line from the door to the bike rack area, takes right and goes halfway to Northwest highway. No, I didn't go in, I just d...

It might be fun idea to organize a “Walk the Chalk” event, I saw the idea being done in other neighborhoods in Park Ridge. Everyone can draw inspiring words on their sidewalks or driveways and then head out for a walk with social distancing in mind and enjoy the neighborhood’s uplifting words and art work.
