Any basement flooding nearby Park Ridge? We got a couple of inches in our unfinished basement. Thinking getting bleach to make sure it’s clean might be difficult to find.

If it doesn’t get colder and this storm stays on track, I have a bad feeling we may all be screwed in Park Ridge. I mean, the ground is cold and not as absorbent. And this unrelenting system looks just like the last two systems that flooded our town. Flooding in January? Please tell me I’m worrying for nothing....

Are there any insurance agents here or does anyone have someone they absolutely love by Park Ridge? Our homeowners insurance isn’t being renewed due to our flooding twice (problem is fixed). We are looking for both homeowners and auto. Thanks!

Asking for a friend, does anyone live in a house in Park Ridge where the driveway is sloped down like this picture? Is it a shoveling, water nightmare with flooding? Do you have a good drainage system? Please advise - thank you for your honesty! 😀

Has anyone else been asked to “work from home” or use PTO due to fallout from tomorrow’s jury verdict around Park Ridge. Messages flooding in to avoid downtown tomorrow “out of an abundance of caution”. Hope everyone stays safe!

In regards to the 20 minute downpour that washed through town yesterday afternoon, does anyone know how to persuade the city to address the major drainage issues hurting homeowners across Park Ridge? I live on Cumberland Ave., and we experienced major flooding down our street to the point that cars were getting stuck and water was crawling up front lawns. But thus far, only 136 residents have completed the survey! Please do so: it's very important. And if you have parents or grandparents who don't use...

I am so grateful that my kids are blessed with THINGS beyond measure, but when I think of so many who have recently lost so much (pick one, the most recent flooding down south) I feel like I want to do something in Park Ridge. I currently have a huge laundry basket full of stuffed animals and puzzles and coloring books that are in good shape. Usually no one wants to take stuffed toys, but I hate that they are in perfect and...
