What can I use to remove a tar like substance from my car without damaging the paint within Park Ridge? Somebody threw something on it. just went through a car wash and it came up a bit if I rubbed hard with my finger.

Just want to add my own separate post that we received our new cans yesterday and the "regular garbage" cans have damaged lids around Park Ridge. The lids are bent in such a way that there is an opening, perfect for squirrels and other rodents to crawl through. Here is my can and some of my neighbors.

So the new refuse cans arrived yesterday within Park Ridge. The lids do NOT close - this will be a problem with rodents! Please, someone from the city who manages this service contact Groot to make it right!
