Some time back a number of folks talked about establishing a place for kids to hang out in Park Ridge. I stumbled upon this idea and thought I would share it. While it is much more expansive than what is needed, there are a lot of great ideas that could be pulled to create a business model of sorts. Ju...

According to Park Ridge Public Works, there are collection bins at all Park Ridge polling places into which you can put your old yard signs. Nice efforts by the Go Green organization and Newcomers Club. Here is a photo from the PW building collection site this morning.

The repairs and painting was needed, as it poorly reflected on the neighborhood. That maintenance was appreciated. However, the green/black plastic screening which is usually placed on a metal fence t...

So you only paint your ugly fence up to where it covers your new tarp to hide your precious green space from your neighbors. Oh and by the way see how there are no wind cut outs in the tarp if there ...

I have an elderly patient who is interested in being involved in social activities to get out of her house and be with people in Park Ridge. I suggested maybe a book club or a group that gets together to play bingo or cards. Any suggestions? She lives in Park Ridge. Thanks

Danna Boutwell Karkazis I joined Elite Deal Club after you posted about it a few weeks ago around Park Ridge. I finally opened my first email today, saw something I wanted and when I clicked to "See on Amazon" it was not selling for the sale price listed on the email. Am I doing something wrong?

My fabulous book club, NPBC (Norwood Park Book Club), hosted our January meeting at Affresco in Park Ridge and I wanted to publicly thank them for and commend them on their professionalism and kindness. Our table of 12 was accommodated with a quiet, comfortable alcove and a table perfectly set.
