There have been many posts asking about what Groot will or will not pick up on their regular waste/recycling routes, due to COVID-19 concerns by Park Ridge. The photo below is a perfect example of what will be taken, box sticking out of can, and what will not be taken, loose cardboard on the ground. I have a bunch of cardboard from moving and furniture boxes that isn’t in good enough condition someone else could reuse near Park Ridge. Think crushed boxes or weird size furniture cardboard. It will take forever to slowly get rid of it in my recycle barrel. Is there somewhere I can take it to recycle it? It’s clean (no food stains).

People of Niles: does anyone know how much "debris" we can put on the curb on garbage day in Park Ridge? We have two toilets, a bunch of cardboard boxes from light fixtures/toilets/etc, lots of trim and baseboard that had been pulled out, etc. Our garbage and recycling bins are already full. Eventually w...
