Does anyone know anything about Nursing homes that accept Medicare and Medicaid in Park Ridge? I have a Medicare client that’s desperate…

Most do accept Medicare as long as there are open beds. Try NORRIDGE Gardens.

Try Generations at Regency in Niles. They accept Medicare.

Most accept Medicare - but it’s short term. They will have to have a supplemental plan or qualify for Medicaid if they need to be there for a longer period of time or permanently

Nursing homes are not paid for by Medicare except for up to 100 days after a hospital stay. Medicaid covers nursing homes, but you cannot have assets and be on Medicaid. For long term stays, it is either private pay, or the nursing home can assist in preparations for Medicaid. https://www.medicareresources.org/.../to-what-extent.../

Medicare will only cover up to 100 days after a hospital visit. Some nursing homes except patients on medicaid but it is very very limited. Just try to call all around and see.

Limited number of medicaid beds pee home. Apply for medicaid, spendown assets to $2000. 5 year look back on assets.
