Anyone recommendations for internet in Park Ridge. ATT isn’t available in my part of Park Ridge. Currently have Xfinity. Paying for extreme speed which should be up to 300 Mbps and getting around 20. On the phone several times this week, not resolved. Customer service stinks.

I’d recommend using Twitter, if you have an account. They are much more responsive when it’s publicly visible.
Thanks I’ll give it a try
If you can get wow it’s much cheaper usually!
Sanjay Patel RCN isn’t available here
I have been having the same issue.
I think a lot of it has to do with the pandemic
I recommend WOW.
No actually AT&T is not much better because it’s dish so on cloudy days you may not get any reception. Xfinity charges a lot because they’re the only ones around so they can. I don’t know if wow is in your area but they charge only 34. 99 to start. I know they’re in Arlington Heights. You might look them up. I would love to have them but they’re not in my area yet
Did you have anyone check it? Router/wifi/computer used?
Try unplugging the router that usually does the trick. I pay for 150mb and I'm pushing over 200mb
Done that multiple times. They tried a reset multiple times. Told me the modem was bad. Got a new one. Nothing is working
Comcast business all the way. We never have outages. But it is not a bundle cuz we cut the cord.
Contact the fcc. File a complaint there and Comcast will fix it really really fast. https://www.fcc.gov/cons.../guides/filing-informal-complaint
How is the connection in the room where the modem is?
The non-response is NOT typical of Comcast. I think you should keep trying. If you can't get ATT, Your only choices are WOW or Comcast. I had Comcast for over 10 years and then switched to WOW but it's no better and in fact I think WOW's customer service is not as good as Comcast. Sometimes Comcast took a little while but they ALWAYS resolved my problem whenever I had one.
Just a thought but if you have a large house you may need a network extender because the signal may not be hitting the far side of your house
I have Xfinity and its the worst! My internet goes out all the time and yes, their customer service sucks!
Get rid of Wi-Fi and hard wire it. My Wi-Fi was around 20mbs, hard wire is 300+
