Has anyone had the grass in their front lawn totally replaced and re leveled by Park Ridge? If so do you mind telling me about how much it cost. And I would love any recommendations of who you used to do it.

My parents did this to their backyard. If I'm not mistaken it was around $3, 000. They used Budget Lawn out of Mount Prospect.

We just had Belter Landscaping do our lawn and the parkway. They were excellent, we had a lot of other stuff done too so what we paid would be quite different. I highly recommended them.

Price is based on how much material there is to move, size of the yard, etc. Anyone else’s price would be meaningless when trying to figure out what yours should cost. You need to get a landscaper physically out there to quote it.

Yes about 10 years ago. I don’t think it was more than about $1000. We had new sod put down. Sod runs about $4 -8 a roll retail. I think each of the roll is 1 foot wide by 3 ft long. If you’re going to do it you want to do it sooner than later or wait to do it until early fall. You do not wanna do this in July or August because the grass would need to be watered constantly. My husband did a section himself It was about five rolls. Cost us about $75. We did use extra $$ for weed killer and grass seed. He took off the grass laid down weed killer let that sit a week and then worked on the lawn. You always want to have a little extra. It’s like doing tile in the house you never wanna be short. Another thing to consider is once you lay down the new sod you have to maintain it with fertilizer periodically and also grub control otherwise the grubs will eat the lawn

Install GroTurf if you can. You will never regret it! Money saving all around and it always looks great! It’s raining now and I have no mud! Love it!
