Have flood control and no water.
Great question
Have Parks flood control. No water at all. It's well worth the price.
We have a flood control and have never had water in our basement. I do have it serviced every year and sewer lines rodded.
Our overhead sewers managed to hold back the sewage as intended, but we got a significant amount of seepage and some overland flooding via an egress door.
We have overhead and no water!
We have flood control and got a small amount of water come up through the floor drains. Nothing damaging though.
Overhead sewers but we got minimal seepage. Most likely a new crack in the foundation.
Tiled, plastic on walls, catch basin in front yard, pump with back up battery- no water. Neighbors on either side both got it and don’t have flood control.
We installed overhead sewers and sump pump for seepage years ago and no water since. Worth every penny. It’s so nice to not to have to worry about water in the basement every time it rains.
Dry. Praise God. Overhead sewers and drain tile saved us.
Overhead sewers. no sewer water. yes to seepage
Not us! Highly recommend. After being flooded three times ( sewer back up) best thing we ever did!
We didn’t either . overhead sewer and interior drain tiles, sump pump etc installed by perma seal
We have a sump pump system in the basement and an ejection pump in the front yard. We did not get any water. 🙏🙏. Worth the investment.
I have Parks flood control and no water. Also have it serviced every year. Also had them put in a sump pump a few years ago and it's very quiet barely hear it.
We have overhead sewers, and worth every penny. Have not flooded since.
After having sewage two or three times we have flood control from Eveready with no problems. Checked every year. Permaseal fixed some cracks in foundation - perfect. We had a little seepage which came in along the side of the house where the sidewalk meets the house.
I have 2 sump pumps and an overhead sewer pump system. All foundation cracks sealed. No water. We’ve only had water twice from seepage. One was bad when we first moved in. One wasn’t so bad. We’ve been in our house 14 years.
We didn't get any water and used to flood during almost any storm till we got the flood control.
We have Parks Flood Control system. We haven’t had water in 6 years since we put it in. Before that we had 18” of water for the third time.
Nope. System worked!
Exterior drain tile - Internal Sump Pit, worked.
I have flood control along with two other neighbors on the block and we all got no water at all. Those without flood control on the block all got water.

We were dry - worth every penny!
I am currently in the process of ripping out my carpet from my first level basement 😕 my dual control on the basement basement works great and worth it.
🙋🏼♀️
Flood control from Parks installed 15 years ago. No sewer back up; did get water from blocked outside drain . 😡that was our fault from not rodding
No we didn’t! We have the best guy if u want his info! We have been here more then 10yrs no flood!
Call Parks! Worth it !
Dry. Overhead sewer from Mid City Plumbing. Worth it!
We did not. Our backyard is pool but dry basement.
Got flood control in 2009 and no water since then 🙏🏻
I think everyone did. My system worked my flooding was seepage. Our entire block has flood protection and everyone got water in one way or another *disclaimer we live on a block where they have done none of the sewer improvements the rest of the town has
Dry. Overhead sewer from MidCity Plumbing. I’m hurt to spend that kind of money on a sewer. Best. Decision. Ever.
We bit the flood control bullet last year after 5 major sewer water floods and as many have said, best decision ever! No water this last storm which was a huge relief and kind of miraculous after so much disgusting and devastating flooding in previous years. Worth every penny. Next we’re having a whole house generator installed to make sure flood control works during stormy power outages.
Sump pump ejects to over head piping out to drain. I guess it’s overhead sewers. 2 sump pumps. They run year round except like July. No flooding
Not really sure what we have, I think 2 check valves with a pump. Dry.
We have flood control-came with the house when we bought it. We were dry, thankfully.
Parks Plumbing
Overhead sewers and we are 100% dry 🙂
Literally had interior drain tiles installed on Wednesday. Whew!
Worth the investment, we had no water.
Drain tile and overhead sewer. Installed in 2015. No water. Prior to installation we had water in our basement in 2011 and 2013.
Been in Niles for 25 years with a flood control system and never flooded. Could it be the construction on Howard Street. Will call Niles Public service on Monday to see what’s going on. My flood control unit is working fine. West Lawlor Street in Niles totally underwater. For your information the fans are running in the basement . At least the sun is out😀
We have one. Totally dry
We have parks double check valve system. No water. We had flooded 5 times before install. Worst was 28 inches
We have over head swearers. No water.
We have an overhead sewer but we got water because of speepage through cracks that need to be sealed. Otherwise I think we would be dry.

I have flood control. I don't know if it was $$$ it was here when I bought the house. We had some water coming up the drain in the laundry room. It flowed about a foot away to the drain for the flood control where it was pumped out. The rest of the water that came in around the foundation is either a gutter problem or a foundation problem. We're getting new gutters next week, so time will tell. Damage, none, the floor get a good wash. Lol
We have a flood control system and did not flood. The pressure did blow the lid off our clean out though!
Flood control system & generator. Money well spent. Parks, Eveready and Xpert are three companies that do flood control systems.
We have flood control and never get any water in our home.
Put one in after the flood of 2011. We have a large cistern buried in the front yard and a flap that keeps sewer water from backing into the house. We are as dry as a bone!
We put in a flood control . it was $$$ 🤦♀️ but now we can sleep through storms. Completely dry.
We have overhead sewers and never have any water in our basement.
With overhead sewer it's almost impossible to flood from sewer line. As long as you keep up on maintaining your pump system and have battery backup have installed hundreds of these systems with no complaints.
Have overhead sewers no sewer water. Sump pumps couldn’t keep up tho so got some water
We got a system put in last spring, no water since
Just minimal seepage.
Worth it . no flooding since installed in 2008
