I think Lapin in Evanston is open on Saturdays. They’re my go to for Mac repair. They are Apple authorized, very honest and cheaper than Apple Store

Okay I spilled water on mine last summer and I scoured the internet and found a way to fix it that worked but I don’t know if it’s too late for yours or not. I spilled water in the keyboard 😬 So what I read was to turn it off, move it as little as possible so the water doesn’t run all over, gently open it as wide as it goes and place it open on something like a grate with a towel below. We used a dog cage. Then below it get air flowing. I used a box fan and angled it up at the computer. Do not move it for 48 hours and then turn it on

Depending on the age of the Mac, Lapin in Evanston is the only one who could fix ours.

Tech City is closed for the lockdown. Go to their other shop, Computer Planet by Lawrence/Central. I don’t work on Apple computers for a few reasons.
