Looking for anyone that wants to thin their raspberry bushes around Park Ridge. My husband cut ours down too low and they aren’t coming back this year. 🙄 Most stores are sold out of them for the season. Thank you, and he appreciates any offers so he doesn’t have to keep hearing about it! 😁

I get new growth coming out of the ground every year that I can set aside for you if you dont mind driving to prospect heights. It wont likely bear fruit this summer. but it will grow :) I'm not ready to pull them quite yet . but almost :)

Good luck. Same thing happened to me years ago! I miss that raspberry plant. Best tasting raspberries I ever ate.

Piggybacking off this post: We planted 4 saplings. 2 raspberry and 2 blackberry. One of each has started to sprout offshoots but 2 are dormant. I read that they can take a year or two to produce. Are 2 of my saplings just getting ready for next year or do I assume they're dead?
