My friends had a coop in Chicago with about 5 chickens, idk if it was legal or not, but chickens are very quiet, they really dont smell. And are super fun to watch there heads bob around
I reached out to the city and the reply was clearly that they chickens are not allowed in Park Ridge. They are allowed in Chicago, Hinsdale, Bannockburn, and many other suburbs though.
