Dog groomers are allowed to open tomorrow in Park Ridge! Let's hope hair salons and barber shops are next!

So now we are like Tennessee and Georgia ? 🤦♀️
I want the federal buildings to open.
I think hair salons and barber shops are a long way from opening. For good reason. They are very near the customer and change multiple customers throughout the day. Even with masks, it is very close contact with lots of people who will bring that exposure home. Dog groomers are very different from hair salons.
Ummm no! Can’t understand why people have to be so vain and selfish that they can’t suck up some grey hair and split ends for the lives of everyone around them. FYI salons most likely won’t be able to blow dry hair. Also, think about how many people one asymptomatic person that walks into a salon can infect in a day!
I am 80 years old and my hair is getting thinner. I would love to have my hair trimmed, but alas, I am cutting parts of my hair myself. Not looking good! I don't consider myself vain or selfish
I need my hair desperately cutbut I think we should wait
For those that want to wait great. For those that want to mask and glove up to get a cut have at it. Walking through Home Depot is a lot worse when I had to get a replacement sump pump.
I have booked mine! My poor fur babies.
So happy! My Husky has blown his coat all over our house and cars. So much fur! Finally getting groomed early Saturday morning!
Sounds like C-19 numbers in Park Ridge are about to go up. Be safe out there, the more things that open up without a vaccine, numbers will just go up.
Not sure I feel groomers are essential when the rest of us can’t get our hair cut
From a business point of view reopening hair salons with restrictions would be a great thing for a lot of families. . That is if some of these salons can even afford to reopen.
This virus is going to be around for a long time. A vaccine won’t be available for at least a year to 18 months. Are we supposed all stay home until then?

If you want to sit and hide in your house go right ahead. Everyone else who will be outside getting their life back will be aware of the risks. And if they are willing to take the risks to go out, that is in them. They will be no danger to you as you will be inside you house. It’s a win win
Yes but if you take the risk . your also risking spreading it to others That’s the whole point . it’s to protect others You wear a mask to protect me . i in turn wear it to protect you I stay home because I’m a Nurse and don’t want to spread it to others It’s not about me and my rights it’s about me caring for all of you My family, my neighbors or even if I cross you in passing
