Couldn't get through to Devon Ave Meats this morning in Park Ridge. so sad! Where else can you get good skirt steak or flank steak for tacos? It's for the hubs bday so it has to be good! Catch is it HAS to be somewhere with good social distancing practices.

The best place is Minelli's in Oak Mill Mall, have them tendorize it!
We love the carne asada steak at Trader Joe’s. Better than Mariano’s, and already marinated so able to grill and serve. We have it at least once every couple of weeks. Down on the bottom shelf of the meat section. Their pico de gallo is outstanding.
Trader Joe’s also has a great carna Asada in the meet section. Already marinated. So good

P&S Meats has a delicious Skirt Steak, as does Ellengee Meats. Delicious!
Whole Foods employees are required to wear masks, are given optional face shields and are required to take their temperatures at the start of each shift. They also do curbside pick up and wear gloves. Best practices I’ve seen consistently so far!

Costco has the BEST marinated skirt steak for fajitas! Hardly any fat and taste better than 90% of the restaurants. You can find them right in front of the butchers, at the back of the store.
