My Kitchen Aid blender broke by Park Ridge. It will cost $70-90 to replace the broken part. Rather just buy a new blender. Looking for something strong to make occasional smoothie or milkshake. Nothing crazy. Recs?

If all you need is on occasional smoothie or milkshake, you'd be fine with an Oster. Buy one on Amazon, try it and return it if you're not happy with it.

I bought a Ninja with a 30% coupon at Kohl's a while back. I love it! Especially for the smoothies. Easy to clean.

Get a good blender. You won't regret it. Vitamix or Smegg.

Love my vitamix. It’s a beast. Not the fancy one but Costco frequently has them at a discount. Consider that the blades are incredibly sharp and pose a hazard if it disassembles for cleaning. I also have a tried and true Oster that was 50 bucks tops. It never fails me.

Costco has Vitamix on sale right now. I love mine. I definitely agree with others. It is fierce. My tween and teens use it almost daily and are very hard on it. I’ve had it almost 10 years and have never had any issues. Works perfectly. It’s worth every penny.

Ugh i have such mixed feelings! i bought a really expesnive vitamix and it broke twice. 600 dollars and motor deficiencies. I settled on a blendtech, highly highly recommend! have had it for more than ive had the vitamix's

I hate my ninja so much. It’s too loud, too giant, too clunky, and too finicky (the slightest smoothie goo on the bottom will make the whole thing not work).

We have a ninja, but my girls like making smoothies in the cheap $20 individual smoothie maker blender they got at biglots 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

It’s this one but at big lots it was either $16 or $20. Works well came with two of the tumblers.

I have a Ninja. It works for us. It has two bullets and a blender pitcher. It works okay if the ice is in just the right place.

Ninja foodie. The thing is a workhorse. Agree with the previous poster who said it a monster but as a monster, it packs power. 1 minute smoothie setting takes care of all chunks of fruit, ice, etc. Makes great cocktails and you can make hot soups, sauces, and dips. The thing is amazing.
