Anyone flown frontier in and out of O'Hare within Park Ridge? I was pleasantly surprised by spirit last year, but wasn't sure if frontier is similar. Thanks

I fly frontier frequently out of ohare. It is a budget airline so just keep that in mind (everything is extra) the ONLY “negative” I have to say is that Frontier does run out of the International Terminal and usually the gates are literally at the furthest end of the terminal. It’s a bit of a walk but for the price difference it’s worth it.

We have twice to Orlando. No issues. No frills but worth it for a two and a half hour flight. Paid around $800 round trip for 7 people and that included choosing our seats.

Frontier is good. Sometimes the flights are delayed from Orlando to Chicago. Overall positive experiences

My, ”kids” fly frequently, and rarely have an issue. With 4 traveling it works for them.

Sheila Leen we flew to Mexico on frontier. There was one small issue where they didn’t have us on the paper manifest but did on the computer so it delayed us a little at the counter. I didn’t think it was a big deal but then the lady moved us to a front row because of the “inconvenience” was definitely worth it for the extra leg room. Flew United with Mia to San Fran a couple months later and they were not accommodating for traveling with an adolescent but the video screens are nice.

FYI- similar to Spirit, you can save by purchasing tickets at the airport counter. Thankspically around $21 savings each way compared to online prices, Spirit is $22. 99 cheaper each way when purchasing in airport. It’s worth the $3 to park and go buy them there!

It’s no frills but gets you where you want to go.

Frontier is in terminal 5 now. So that does put a little extra time in the security line. Frontier is nothing fancy but it gets you there.
