Wellllp. with the snow, comes coyotes in Park Ridge? I just saw two coyotes running up and down Cumberland near Dempster. They took off down a side street! Watch your pets!

Nothing new. They're everywhere up and down Cumberland and its side streets. Coyotes are able to escape from the cemetery.

They are of no harm if you give them room to exit. Aggression is a rarity., and usually due to human interference or habituation due to humans feeding. Unattended dogs are usually the ones that are attacked in their yards at dusk or nighttime - which is an active time for Coyote predation. Carry mace and a flashlight and you’ll be fine. They will watch my Shepherd when we are walking., then scatter when he barks his deep bark. I like em too’
