Resmed is what my sleep apnea doctor gave me
Resmed too and I hate it! I have a face mask with the mouth covered and nose is a air hole similar to a soft fat nasal oxygen Canula with the tube connecting to chin area. I feel like it’s suffocating. So I called and talked to a rep and they sent me just a nose one the same soft fat nasal cannula that attaches to the top of my head. It blows air up my face and freezes me and makes my nose run. I have to wait 60 days to get anything else but I can’t see me using it longer. I only had 4 episodes per min in my sleep study so the cpap was optional but I am desperate for sleep. This is not the answer for me 😐.
Resmed nasel pillows
Resmed nasal pillows.
Resmed Quattro Air. about 8 years now. takes awhile to get used to, but it’s quiet, not much leakage, and relatively comfortable.
ResMed Air Fit N20 - allows you to sleep on your side or your back
Have you tried a mask liner? They have helped me a lot. RemZzzs Full Face Cpap Mask Liners (K1-FS) - Reduce Noisy Air Leaks and Painful Blisters - Cpap Supplies and Accessories - Compatible with Resmed Respironics DeVilbiss . https://www.amazon.com/.../ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i
Am going next Friday to get the setting for the machine. I think I’m going with the nasal mask that does not blow up the nostrils. I used the full mask years ago, could never get used to it for a full night. Lost a ton of weight and just stopped using it. Now apparently Medicare monitors use. Big brother is watching.
I use the Swift For Her nasal pillows for 11 years. Make sure you use the correct size pillows. . https://www.directhomemedical.com/cart/merchant.mvc
