We’ve been taking our Yorkie to Banfield on Touhy for the last ten years. No problems so far. He’s always been healthy. My best friend takes her two dogs and her kitten to Banfield as well.
Horrible plan. Don’t do it.
I have has both of my dogs care thru Banfield on Milwaukee Niles. I use the wellness plan and it pays for itself.

Me too. Vet was a jerk. Very cold and indifferent to both my dog and my questions.
I had to use the Vet at Banfield (my dog caught something while boarded at PetHotel and his eye had lots of goo coming from it) and after fighting they finally agreed to pay for one visit if I went to Banfield. The vet was upset because the tech opened the back door to the room and my boy ran out. He diagnosed a URI. When I asked questions, because I am not a vet, and thought eye discharge would be an eye infection he became upset with me. I vowed never again.
I had a really bad experience with a kitten there in 2004 and would not go back again. I’m sure a more recent review would be more helpful though.
My daughter is a Vet, she recommends to stay clear of Banfield
Elsewhere! Go to a real vet! Try Golf-mil, or Niles Animal Hosp. Not Banfield.
I had Banfield the first year I got my dog but I dropped them because they are only good for vaccinations. If your dog gets sick they don’t care and make you wait for an appointment for a week or two and even then they flake out.
Not banfield. There are so many wonderful animal hospitals around. Bikes animsl hosp. Park ridge animsl hosp Touhy Animal hosp and many more

Im not going to post my long (negative) review on them. I use to be pro Banfield and it’s changed so much the past 4 years that the care for my dogs became negligent and wouldn’t listen to my concerns so I left and go to an amazing vet office now. If you want the large amount of details, please Pm me. I would recommend finding a vets office you’re comfortable with. we, including our 🐶🐶 love Dr. doughtery out of ace animal hospital.
We currently have the wellness plan for a puppy we're happy with it we do go to Kildare to see the vet we like him dr. Johnson so far we've had all her shots we're going to schedule a spay next month it cost me $44 a month for one year so it's worth it and then I will drop to like $20 a month after 1 year
I use Banfield Mt Prospect for my cats. Basics check ups , vaccines etc. are fine. I haven’t needed them for anything serious fortunately! The Dr is very good
Banfield is not a great place for any pet. Cookie cutter medicine. They can not diagnose anything that might be remotely more than routine. I'd stay away at all costs.
We also really like Dr. Dimperio!
