We have water leaking from our first floor ceiling nearby Park Ridge. Area is below our master bath (but no one showered this morning) and I suspect it’s a roof (and maybe master bath too) issue. Help! Who do we call? I suspect we might need roof work but we will definitely need the interior ceiling repaired and probably some work in the master bath too. Who do you REALLY trust?

Christine, I could come out to review Monday afternoon, if it is an active leak, potentially today. PM me some pictures.

Do you have a child who happened to leave the shower door open a couple inches like I do? Not once but twice. Ruined our plaster ceiling in our formal dining room. We also had a leak from our roof about 4 years ago. Fun stuff

I recommend calling your insurance, it’s difficult to diagnose without seeing the damage. Perhaps it’s a plumbing leak if the bathroom is directly above. A roof leak is not out of the question because of the freezing rain, it has caused roof damming in our area. You need to get that opened up, cleaned and dried. Especially if the cause is the toilet. PM me, GCPRO Restoration I can stop by and inspect today, free of charge of course.
