Taking the train downtown tomorrow to meet a friend for lunch around Park Ridge. Daily commuters will probably have taken most of the spots by the time I’m leaving. What’s my best option to find a spot for a few hours? Lower level of lot under Make Room for Truman?

If it’s just for one day I would suggest taking an Uber to the train station.

If you go to the Edison Park stop, there is usually plenty of parking along avondale towards Olympia park. The next few weeks will be easy to park as people have vacations, etc.

Take it from Norwood Park. Lots of free parking.

You can park on Prairie where they have farmers market. There’s lots of parking spaces. You will need coins.
