Allstate Arena, is anyone familiar with this place and where would you suggest the best seats are by Park Ridge. I want to surprise my mom with tickets to Blake Shelton concert for her 79th birthday, some say sitting too close would not be good for her thanks

Main floor would be the most comfortable. The seats in the stands are narrow and arm rests are unmovable plus you have to climb over people to get out to the aisle.

While the main floor is more comfortable, it's very hard to see anything from there. Everyone will stand the entire time, so unless she also stands, she won't be able to see. My best suggestion is to try and sit on the sides on the stage, a few rows up. The seats are not that uncomfortable. I have been to many concerts and had season tickets for the Wolves the past few years.

The sides of the stage-first or second row are the best seats.

If you can, pick your seats and try to get aisle seats. We’ve done a few concerts on the floor and you’re still sandwiched in as much with the folding chairs and you cannot see as good because everyone is usually standing, There are not too many options left for main floor but there are a couple aisle seats left

Check out a view from my seat - it is actual pictures from a specific seat (or section, etc). No one in the floor sits for a concert - there will be a mass of jumping, dancing bodies. Great if you are 19, maybe not so much at 79, but maybe your Mom is up for it. If so, go Mom! https://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Allstate+Arena/

I wouldn’t suggest the floor for a 79 year old. I’d go first tier, 100 sections-103, 102, 110, 111. But honestly, it’s a small enough arena that she’ll most likely have a great time wherever she sits!

First tier sections 100-103, 102, 110 and 111 are great first or second rows

No higher then 200s for me. That section is usually great eye level.

If you want good sound-head on to the stage-any level is good and reasonable. It is a smaller arena so still able to see stage

Since we live so close, I suggest going to the box office to get tickets. Worth it to look at options and talk to the ticket person for their suggestions too. I agree with others that side stage seats are good. Lots of standing on main floor.

If she doesn't have a problem with stairs sections 110 or 103 100% the best! Problem with the true floor seats is unless your in the first few rows when everyone stands up you can't see anything.
