I guess it all depends on personal preference. My boys usually pick based on scent. I let them pick what they want out.

Native is aluminum free so I assume it’s safe for all ages. They have scents that are more manly geared too! 😁

Old spice figi with palm tree. smells really good a teenager recommended this one to me when I was looking for my son
Since he’s young I would start w/ the natural, aluminum free ones and see how that goes. Toms, native also Lume. The Lume one you can only buy online on their website. I tried that one for myself but it only worked for me for a month or two, unfortunately.
Just make sure you don’t buy anything that has aluminum. My husband found this one at target.
