Does anyone give their children probiotics around Park Ridge? If so, what brand? I'm determined to cut down on our sick days this year!

Our Pedi gastro dr said that probiotics don't work. But we still use these: . https://www.amazon.com/.../ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin

Just Thrive! I have researched the heck out of this. There is nothing better. It has the most gut absorption. My doctor takes it.

My kids are teenagers now, but we have been taking Culturelle for years (regular, not kids version). It was originally suggested by pediatric GI at University of Chicago hospital and we have tried many (many) others and keep coming back to Culturelle.

My kids and I used Arbonne daily. They contain prebiotics to feed the probiotics and botanical enzymes to break down our food and get the nutrients! It’s awesome for bloating and muffin top too!

I've been meaning to do this. My college age daughter catches everything that comes down the pike. Thanks for the reminder!

We give our son Culturelle kids probiotic packets, which our pediatrician recommended. Mixes well into juice. They also have gummies

My daughter likes Schiff Digestive Advantage gummies. They have them at Target.

If you are taking one without a prebiotic, they’re basically pointless. They can survive the gastric juices without them

Another vote for Thrive! It's run by a local family too!

I cut an onion and put it in a dish up on the window sill - when it turns black I replace it- very little sickness in my house

Hi Wendy, I own a holistic healthcare practice in park ridge and we carry high quality supplements by Orthomolecular. We just restocked on our probiotics for kids and adults. I highly recommend them and my patients have done very well on them. We also offer other options to help boost little ones immune system with eastern medicine therapies as well. Let me know if you’d like to know more! Feel free to PM me or call the office 773. 800. 1806 Eastern Vitality, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

Gut health is of utmost importance for our immune system and overall well being. Know that OTC probiotics are not regulated by the FDA (same with vitamins and supplements) so you don’t know if what the label states is proven and verified.
