Have you used Uber to get to O’Hare early in the morning, 5:30 am by Park Ridge? Did you have to wait long for a pick up?

You can schedule an Uber to pick you up at a certain time.
I went on Friday (still cold and a little snowy) and called for Uber at about 4:50a and they came at 5:10.
In my experience they pick up in less than 10 min.
5-10 minutes at 4:15am. be careful when selecting O'Hare and its multiple options. I though I chose O'Hare Terminal 1. even told the driver when we got in the car. O'Hare terminal 1. He acknowledged and took us from Des Plaines to O'Hare neighborhood (Cumberland and Higgins) on the expressway/ charged TOLLS and all. I never even knew a neighborhood was called O'Hare!
We always scheduled. It never took to long - maybe 5-10 mins
I always schedule and then end up ready early 90% of the time so then I cancel and rebook for when I’m ready and I’ve never waited long.
I use lyft. Seems a little less expensive. Never had a problem with pickup. Also tell them how to get there so they don't use toll road
I go to the airport early fairly often and haven’t had a problem.
They come within minutes. Have used them at that time

They are great!
Recommend using American Taxi! They are great, they have an app so you can schedule one in advance for pickup. Never had an issue and always on time. Fare to airport is $19 from Park Ridge.
Uber. Never a problem going to ORD.

You can preset pick up times on Uber app.
My usual wait time is about 8-10 minutes. I used to schedule taxis but after a few misses by the cab company I had to stop

My husband uses early morning pickup for business trips and he waits 5-10 minutes at most.
