Does anyone recommend what I can put on my daughters mosquito bites in Park Ridge. I spray her to prevent them and it doesn't work. How can I soothe the ones already itchy and welt like?

My daughter reacts the same way - I was told to mix Benadryl cream and Cortaid in your hand and apply together. It has helped her.

Simple aloe gel either natural plant or store bought and clear. I use it for everything. Burns, cuts, after waxing, mosquito bites, etc

My kids got eaten alive this past weekend. I asked the pharmacist at Marianos tonight and she suggested Hydrocortisone Cream USP 1%. I bought the Marianos brand (Kroger) and it seems to be helping my kids with the irritation around their bites. Hope this helps you too!

You are going about it backwards. Give her a large dose of Viatmin B1. She will smell terrible to the mosquitoes and they will not bite her. It takes a few weeks to get enough B1 in her system to do any good. She should be taking it all summer. It works and you will have no further problems. Sounds like your daughter's body has a hard time of storing Vitamin B. No worries about overdosing on B1. The Vitamin Bs are all water soluble. She can not overdose on them.
