My boys left two of their favorite toys outside one evening this week on the parkway for a few hours around Park Ridge. A Kettler go-cart similar to the one pictured here and the john deere tractor in the picture. They were taken and we think someone thought they were being thrown away since they were on the parkway. Our last resort is to post here with hopes they might be returned-if nothing else, my boys have learned a hard lesson in putting their toys away. Thanks!

Good luck! I hope a fairy will maybe drop them off over night?

I put 4 riding toys out last weekend on the parkway near the curb, specifically to be given away. Sorry this happened to you.

I like your last comment in your post. The value of the lesson they learned outweighs the cost of those toys.

Scrappers take anything metal. And they always seem to be circling- Unfortunately, I doubt you'll get those back

That is sad especially at that age.

We had a electric scooter out, next to the side of our garage for at most 5 minutes. The on light was on and the kickstand was down. A scrapper truck came, grabbed it and peeled out. Last year our neighbor recorded a scrapper truck unloading bikes into a fellow park ridge residents house. He called the police showed them the recording. When the police went to the house there were 25 plus bikes he would pay for bikes and resell them. But he said that the scrapper trucks only would pick up the bikes that were left out for them.
