Has anyone had trees removed in Park Ridge? How much would it cost to remove this gigantic tree?

Would this be a tree that Chicago could consider for the Christmas Tree at the Daily Plaza? Might be an option.

Or. you could heighten the canopy versus removing it. That would for sure lessen the cost. Good luck!

My neighbor used 847-489-5145 Ken's Removal. Said it cost $400 to remove, but that sounded too good to be true. But, I did ask for the number just in case.

Montoya in Glenview removed a huge tree for us for under 1k. If in Park Ridge, you need a permit which might not be easy.

Montoya removed one that size for my daughter in Mt. Prospect. Gave her the best quote.

If there is enough room to cut it down and allow it to freefall the price is lower but if there are fences and houses in the area they require multiple cuts and dropping of the higher portions of the tree that's where it gets more expensive

I'm pretty certain that if you're in park ridge, the city will make you pay (a lot) to take down that tree (permit), as well as require you to plant X number of trees on your property (not sure how many) in addition to the cost to take this tree down, it becomes very costly. We are the 'city of trees' aren't we?

We had a large tee like this taken down years ago. You have to get a permit and forester has to come and evaluate the tree. Our neighbor had one a few years later. DM tree services. Great price and service.
