I've been a landlord for 17 years and I have a wonderful tenant whose been with me for 15 of those years in Park Ridge. We're planning on putting the building up for sale soon. She's having a hard time finding a new place because she has 4 cats and is not willing to get rid of them. If anyone knows of an apartment or small home for rent, that allows cats, please pm me. She is such a great tenant. Thanks

Can't you put in a clause saying she has to stay until she finds something or the cats pass away. I know someone who owned a huge building and the 88 year old man living there when they bought it had been living there through 4 owners. Each one of them not only kept him there but also only raised his rent $10 a year. He was a great tenant, always paid on time and helped out around the building. maybe look into that.

That's very kind of you to be trying to help your tenant find a new apartment. I wish her luck

My old landlord has a 2 bedroom 1 bath for rent. It's on Howard in Edison Park. I can get you in touch if him if you want. We loved it there and sometimes miss it. I had a dog and he didn't care that I watched and fostered other dogs.
