What are the thoughts on high efficiency washers vs in Park Ridge. traditional washer with agitator. Top loader not front. Thanks!

I like top loaders because I can always add things or add detergent if I forget or something. I find high efficency to be the same as the old.

High efficiency uses much less water and gets clothes cleaner. I love my top loading HE washer - saves water and energy with better end result

Just bought a Maytag top loader w agitator. It's wonderful! Clothes smell amazing and it fits a ton!

Have a front loader. And dying to switch back to a top loader. Hate the front loader.

If youre set on a top load (not sure why people love them, they have a lot of issues) absolutely get an agitator. Without it people unintentionally over stuff and cause a lot of expensive damage to the machine.

I have an LG HE top loader no agitator which uses very little water. I don't think it gets the clothes clean with that small amount of water. I usually do an extra rinse cycle. My next machine will be top loader with agitator.

I hate my machine! No agitator and uses such a small amount of water the clothes aren't always clean and come out wrapped together like a long rope! Can't wait til I win the lottery or it dies!
