What are people's opinion on Kids First Pediatrics in Park Ridge? It looks like they have pretty good hours, so I'm thinking about switching over to them. Is it easy to schedule appointments with them? Do you like the doctors? I was at Yacktman, but just can't deal with them anymore. Thanks in advance!

I am curious about them as well. I did see somewhere on their website that you must vaccinate your kids or they won't take you as a patient. We have done all vaccinations but gardisil. I was wondering if that would exclude us from being able to go there.

My kids go there. switched from Yacktman and love it. I didn't think the flu vaccine was mandatory, tho. We see Dr. Comrov and LOVE her! She actually listens.

I love Kids First! Some NP are nicer/have better bedside manner than others! Their hours are great. open 7 days a week and have walk in sick hours morning and afternoon 5 days a week. I've never had a problem getting my kids in when sick. Dr. DiVincenzo is great! I switched after my first son was going to a different pediatrician at Res and Kids First is a million times better!

Thanks everyone for your comments! They definitely helped and I'm looking forward to no longer having to be interviewed by a nurse for 20 minutes before Yacktmack will allow me to schedule a sick visit!

We have been there with our twin boys since they were born and love the practice. When the measles reemerged a few years ago and my boys were too young for the vaccine, I was thankful for their vaccine policy. Dr Cathy Divincenzo explained that she didn't want infants or immune compromised kids put at risk in her waiting room due to some choosing not to vaccinate.

We've been there for 9 years. We love it there and stayed after we moved from Skokie to Park Ridge. I always felt comfortable calling the nurse line with a bunch of questions when my kids were little and everything was so new and hard. We set up appointments for well child care quite a bit in advance so we get Dr. Divincenzo but only because we like the consistency. We have been to sick hours more times than I want to count and really, we are happy whoever we see. If you end up going in a second time for a sick visit (same illness), they make sure you see a Dr instead of a NP.

They are super flexible and see patients 7 days a week. Tons of walk-in hours too. We've never been denied a same day visit.

Is this near Skokie Blvd and Golf Rd? Do they have other closer locations?

This has all been so helpful for me. I just called and made the change. How is Dr Aronson? My son prefers a male doc for his wellness visits.

I agree with everyone's comments. We've been going there for 5 years and love it! Dr. Alana Comrov is our doctor and she is wonderful but any time we've had to see other doctores has been a positive experience too. They have a lot of hours for sickness and Sunday hours too. I only wish they were a little bit closer to me but it is so worth the drive.

Love them! Nothing but good things to say. They are very timely with responding to questions and messages. I love that they have walk in sick times during the day as well as later afternoon/early evening. We generally see Dr. Aronson and he's great. Truthfully, like that an office is willing to take a stand on vaccination!
