I'm in need of St. Patrick's Day cabbage recipe please around Park Ridge. I've never made it before and I'm looking for something simple and delicious. Please share:) Thank you!

Cut in 1/2 cut out the core- chop it up- Melt a ton of butter (1/2 stick to a whole one) in a pan add the chopped cabbage salt and pepper to taste and sauté until the cabbage is tender and brown

Cut cabbage into wedges. Stick in toothpicks to hold together. Throw in pot. Boil with carrots, potatoes, onions, and corned beef. Salt and pepper and a bit of butter once on the plate. Eat.

I throw a already seasoned corned beef in a crock pot with quartered red potatoes and as much cabbage as I can fit. Fill the crock pot half way with water. Cook on low for 8 hours. I usually don't have any leftovers and no complaints from my 4 kids!
