Wondering if anyone has ever had to have the charging port fixed on an iPhone around Park Ridge? My son's is not working, and is no longer under warranty. If you have, is there somewhere local you recommend? Thank you!

It cost too much. My sister brought hers in. Was going to cost over $100.

Sounds like his is prob a 5? Since warranty expired? She has 5c and it wasn't money wise practical to spend that.

Guessing you may have already tried something like this, but thought I would mention it just in case. My husband was having the same issue (iphone 6) and the port just needed to be cleaned out. I think he used a toothpick - we couldn't believe the amount of lint in there. Once it was cleared out it started charging again and he hasn't had a problem since.

Did you switch the cord and the plug I had each of these stop working on me at different times. Saved me a ton of money once I figured it out!
