I've heard good things about Viking but there is generally a waitlist. My gym in Skokie has classes, we have done the 2-3 yo classes but they have classes for older kids too, non competitive
We love the gymnastics program at Niles West (through Morton Grove's Park District. ) I'm not positive what ages they start at, but it's worth checking out. They have a nice facility (that's really large), nice coaches, and the sessions are reasonably priced.

We were on a wait list for Viking for about a year. In that time we found Lakeshore Academy in Mt. Prospect and absolutely love it!
We really liked Dreams in Glenview.
When my kids were younger they went to gymnastics @ Norwood Pk. They had great instructors.
We really like Viking but at that age my kids did Park District classes and enjoyed them.
