We rented a sloth yesterday for a friends birthday in Park Ridge! Family came to the house with birds, snakes, steve the sloth, turtles, bats, and little opposums. Was a total hit :) message me if you would like details/info for this place!

Its an awesome organization and they educate the crowd and raise awareness. It was a great experience, and no i dont see it as exploitment . But to each is own

Perhaps if there was any concern regarding these animals, contacting the organization directly would be the the best place to form an opinion instead of assuming.

Many of these companies are actually nonprofits who rescue these animals from situations where their "owner" can no longer care for them. They can't be released back into the wild because they were raised by humans. In turn they do these types of events to give an educational experience to all and to speak about how certain animals shouldnt be kept as pets. Not sure about this place in particular, but just consider the whole picture.

We hired this company a few years ago for my son's party. It was awesome. They also do community events ad well so you can check them out beforehand. http://animalquestinc.com/

This sloth is helping educate children and doesn't look at all in distress. I'm sure he's well fed and taken care of. Perhaps you should block this post if it offends you.

We hired the flying fox. Most of these exotic animals are brought here ilegally. It's when the people that can't take care of them or don't want them, then these activists come in and take over the care of these animals. They are clean and well cared for. To me I think better than a zoo. Until human beings leave them in their natural habitat it's really good of these groups to take over and in the mean time educate us.
