My sons 3rd birthday is in January in Park Ridge. I need ideas where to have it. Not pump it up or kiddie kingdom. Thanks. Kids will range from 3 to 8.

My kids are ages 3, 5, 8. I've had several parties at the lattof YMCA in Des Plaines. I booked the maze and party rooms. Kids all loved it and that is the perfect age range.

Wildwood nature center. The best staff and they will customize your party with different animals. My son takes a class there weekly and thinks it's amazing. 3 is too young to bowl or trampoline.

My kids have loved nature center parties too. I had two of my youngest daughters parties there but since it was June we were outside. I forgot about the indoor parties they have. Oh and I've been to kohls parties as well. Definitely great for that age range.

Good old fashion house party with cake and balloons and let the kids figure out what to do. Remember those? Parents in the kitchen drinking beer and wine out of Dixie cups and kids drinking cool aid out of the same Dixie cups. Pin the tail on the donkey, bobbing for apples, piƱata singing "happy birthday to you, you live in a zoo, you smell like a monkey and you look like one to".

Home Depot does a monthly project (I think the first Saturday)- you can call to organize a party on those days at certain locations.

The Exploratorium is awesome. Just had a party there and the kids had a great time. Kids ages were 2-12yr. We did a joint party with family and had the place to ourselves.

If we actually have snow why not do sledding! And a pizza place after. Or try meeting at centennial and then lunch at the community center. They rent out rooms.
