We want to send something from chicago to my cousin in california any ideas near Park Ridge. I looked into Ginos pizza and it was 11 inch cheese pizza $20 to just deliver. Wanted something different other that a ham or sausages. Thanks! I love this group you have so many ideas and are always very helpful.

Giordano's includes the shipping in their price when ordering a two-pack (or more). I've shipped them a few times and have had great luck! https://gio1.ultracartstore.com/2-Pizza-Pack.html

Where in California are they? I actually bring a cooler full of Lou's, Vienna Beef, & Eli's home to San Diego each time we go. I also ship stuff out to San Francisco. They actually have Portillos out there, which gets shipped directly fr Chicago. If you want to do popcorn, Garretts really isn't all that great. What makes it "Chicago" is the mix. I would definitely contact Lisa Melander Ross of Lisa's popcorn that used to be in Uptown. She can package it for you in Chicago tubs, & as my kids say. "hers is the best".

If they like spicy giardiniera most places outside chicago do not have it, get candy from Margies Candy shop or get Florentine cookies from Tags bakery in Evanston or go to The Spice House and send spices from there could possibly freeze an Elys cheese cake and mail it
