Are private investigators required to disclose what they are investigating in Park Ridge? There are a few here in Park Ridge that check in with Park Ridge Police but don't actually state what they are doing. They seek permission from homeowners and park in private driveways. Annoys me because you see random men sitting all day in cars taking pictures and notes. Makes you wonder as a parent if they are molesters or planning a child kidnapping. Discuss please.

Most fun I ever had was calling Sheriff on a PI they razzed the hell out if him but he was doing his job. But they do look so creepy.

Not allowed on private property or looking in peoples windows. Call the police and state "suspicious person".

Park Ridge police spoke with him twice. He is an investigator and was given approval by homeowners to park on driveway.

As far as I know they could be watching me. I've had the FBI at my house last year accusing me of murder and now this?

Martin if that happened to me I would start digging a grave in my front yard and then filled it in a few days later. I would totally screw with them.

Not required to disclose anything and can sit anywhere if granted permission, but police do run their information and confirm employment with their company. so you and children should not be overly concerned. They are likely investigating suspected insurance fraud. which is rampant and causing insurance premiums to skyrocket. so unless you have something to hide, i wouldn't worry about it if the cops already ran him. If hes doing his job properly, he should be concealed in the rear of a suv or minivan so that people dont see him and he doesnt stir up the neighborhood as he is now. if you are close enough to notice him tho, hes probably not watching you.

That's good to know. I feel sorry for someone at the end of my block. Living here for 11 years now so the wheels are turning about who they're after.
