Results from the D64 Thoughtexchange survey are out, now in the "star" phase According to Dr in Park Ridge. Heinz there were ". almost 2700 thoughts contributed by 656 participants. " Only 656 participants? It appears that participation by school users was sadly lacking, as well as the community as a whole. My understanding is that it is not too late to participate in the Star and Discussion phases, so if you've not done so, sign up now!

If there were 2700 thoughts, why are there only 3 pages with 20 or so thoughts per page in the star phase? Where are the other thoughts?

I did participate, but I was not nearly as thorough as I could have been. This is an awful time of year to have this kind of in depth survey. There is so much that goes on at the end of the school year, including the extensive re-registration of all of your D64 students. Between the endless emails about what you need for the end of the school year, the winding down of every program (arts, sports and otherwise), and trying to organize your kids' summer. I'm not surprised there was a relatively low turn out. Parents are very burned out this time of year.

I did participate, but I don't like the format. There was not enough words allowed, I saw a lot of comments that got cut off. I would also like to be able to respond to comments with something other than the stars allowed. I just picked the ones I liked and gave them 5 stars.

I agree with Michelle Tullett Charley, there is to much to do and too many steps involved with sharing my thoughts. Joan Sandrik you almost had to watch my kids just to get through the questions. Oh, and registration for school and camps!
