Hamilton's surprise resignation comes as elected officials were preparing to conduct his performance evaluation for the last year. If the three remaining neighborhoods recommended by Burke study should have their flooding problems remedied. They had already done 9 but bit the three worst. They were considering a community referendum and the committee voted yes and Marty shut done the meeting. Citizens were upset, some on their feet and some yelling so two sheepish officers with rifles across their chest came into the chambers to protect Scott and the council from some seniors on their canes and other upset citizens. Good riddance!

A second time the police were called was on March 8, 2014 when Park Ridge Citizens attended a special Public Works Committee meeting on flooding chaired. by Alderman Maloney.
